Appearance

Andol is a fairly tall Half-Elf who has quite long brilliantly red hair, unusually so. His pale complexation is in stark contrast to both his red hair and his piecing gold eyes. Indeed there are those who claim that his elegant features, make him among the most handsome people they've ever had the pleasure of seeing. Others however, hold true to their claim that they've never seen a more punchable face in their lives. It should also be mentioned that Andol's left arm has sadly decided to move onto other things and is henceforth called "Cool Andol". Thanks to the efforts of fellow party member Omerok, Andol's regrown his left arm. After the events with Visera, Andol now has a tattoo of sorts on the back of his right hand, giving him access to magic once again.

Andol's usual outfit consists of a set of full purple robes with bits of golden embroidery found throughout, a pair of black pants (of which the robe usually covers), along with fairly mundane looking traveling shoes the color of ash. In addition a holy symbol of Goar along with an arcane focus of bronze and amethyst hang from his neck. His new Cloak of Billowing, is a deep purple which seems to glisten with the light of a thousand stars.

Personality

Equipment

Andol has a light crossbow currently his only form of defense, along with a dagger. Currently his three most important items are a cloak of billowing to help with his magnificent appearance, a bag of holding given to him by the late Barbatos just before he sacrificed himself to save Clymene (which was never taken away), and a ring called The Ring of the Grammarian which he used to great effect by changing up to two letters of a spell to change what they do. Sadly the last item was severely damaged and is unrepairable, from any means minus a Wish spell. As far as miscellaneous items go, he has a business card from "The Menagerie", an outfit from another time, a bracelet of friendship gifted by Aiden and a free song coupon from Lyra.

Powers, Abilities and Skills

  • Bloodline: Previously had a Shadow Bloodline, along with a Draconic one. Both of which were sacrificed in order to keep a promise, and save those dear. Has just recently gotten a Clockwork Soul bloodline, thanks to the efforts of Visera and Legion.
  • Eyesight: Can see 60ft in the dark, much less then he's used to.
  • Longevity: As a Half-Elf, Andol is influenced by his elven side and likely has a lifespan twice as long a a pure human.
  • Magical Aptitude: Has a deep knowledge of how to control and modify innate magical energy.
  • Magnificence: While his looks are one faucet, Andol has the unexplainable phenomena of radiating an aura of Magnificence which augments his already significant charisma.
  • Resistances: Due to his Elven ancestry, Andol has Resistance against attempts to Charm him while also being impossible to put to sleep through magical means.
  • Silver-Tongued: Andol has an almost supernatural ability of using his charisma. Whether this is convincing people of a certain point of view, charming people without trying, or helping to convince a Faction to go to war for a faction they hate.

Relationships

  • Aiden Thorin --"Aiden Thorin, older brother of Andol Thorin. Heh, it still makes me smile when I think about it. He's an outstanding guy who's depth of heart, is only matched by the depth of his ego.... if not slightly exceeded. He's had it tough, fighting his literal demons, while attempting not to loose himself. I hope he can accept himself fully one day, just laughing with Raiah with no shadows weighing down his mind. Having a brother and friend like Aiden, is more then worth losing my magic.... a hundred times over."
  • Aileen Lockheart --"Aileen wasn't an adventurer when she first joined up. She made some basic mistakes and took things not so seriously at points, often due to Clymene's influence. She improved fast though, and I was beginning to see the shadow of not just an adventurer, but a hero in her. She went too soon... through no fault of her own. What use is a persuasive tongue, if it can't even save a friend?"
  • Avice Shiniami --"We're the reason she lost everything. We're the ones who were ambushed by Hiro. We're the ones who entered the Crimson Lace and used their help to disguise ourselves. We're the one's who decided to go with a plan when we were tired and drained. We're the ones who got captured. We're the ones who leaked the info that got her mother and almost everyone else at the Crimson Lace killed. I'm the one who gave her false hope and then tore it away, not able to do anything but watch as she went off into this cruel world alone, angry, confused, betrayed and broken!"
  • Barbatos --"Barbatos was a guy who'd always be there for his friends, sure he'd have a couple rash plans here and there. But he had a good heart and truly wanted to make difference... You were better then you thought you were, hopefully you realize that now. I'll do what I can to watch over Vera, not that she wants us around. Fuck, Clymene need's to own up on costing Aileen her life. It won't be pretty, but if Vera finds out on her own... well she shouldn't have to."
  • Bill and Ted --"I suppose I'll have to let them know that the scone business will likely have to close down. It's a shame, I thought it could bring joy to people, not to mention helping people down on their luck. I'm sure Bill and Ted will come up with another business plan soon enough, I'll see if I can help out. I owe it to them to at least try."
  • Clymene --"Clymene's.... Clymene's complicated in a variety of ways. She's a good person at heart, I truly believe that. But she needs to not rush into taking actions or conclusions without thinking and actually listen to others. She has seemed to improve as late and I hope it's not just my imagination. Without my powers I'm worried she'll make a mistake that I won't be able to fix."
  • Charles Harper --"Charles is essentially the definition of an underappreciated genius, in C&D. He doesn't get half as much as thanks and respect as he should for all the different work and assistance he does for the rest of C&D. Sure he's not my biggest fan but I have no issue with that, hell there's nothing saying I can't like someone who doesn't like me. He's one of the most "good" people I know and I think he could be good for Sayrax. I fully support him in that endeavor.. as long as he doesn't make her cry, then I might just have a problem with Charles."
  • Desdemona Nox --"So Desdemona say's she's not impressed with my drive and initiative, along with saying that I don't have to fulfil my end of the bargain since she doesn't really care. Which is totally fine, family doesn't always agree.... I think? I'm not super sure about family dynamics but I'm pretty sure Desdemona's my cousin.... Anyways, I'm still going to revive her daughter... Who may or may not be her actual daughter, so she might or might not be family? Doesn't really matter, I'm bringing her back and if Desdemona doesn't want her then I'll make sure she at least has a place to stay."
  • Edgar Castille --"Ok Edgar is much easier to place then Desdemona, he's my Uncle and a pretty outstanding guy. He's a noble who actually does things and involves himself in politics when needed, despite not being the biggest fan. Which I can totally relate to, curse my bleeding heart. He also puts a lot of importance on family and cares deeply for it, at least from what I've seen and heard. I'm sure it'll be nice to talk with Edgar, when it's not about saving the world or other similar topics."
  • Elvira Windhelm --"Elvira's the perfect example of what someone in a position of authority should be like, she doesn't shy away from doing what best for the people or from threats that few would dare face. I'd drink to her and her men's bravery, but she really needs to go and make things official with Hildr. If she puts it off much longer Hildr will find someone else, I know she has apprehensions of how it'll affect her position. If her Father tries anything I'll give a speech to the people and see who they decide to berate or insult."
  • Hakim --"It seems like being a badass runs in the family, because Hakim's sisters both kickass... literally from what I've seen. I knew he had a troubled past before, but not the specifics. He should be proud of the person he's become despite his past and I'm glad he's finally able to visit his family. He also gives some sound advice but there's just so much I need to do, and if I don't. Then others will suffer for it."
  • Hildr Firebrand --"I'm honestly just glad she's alive, I wasn't sure she was going to wake up and tried to improve her condition with the little bit of magic I had suited to the task. She's slowly getting back into things with the goal of bodying Atalanta giving her all the motivation she needs. I'm actually kinda looking forward to it, I'll have to see what I can do to make their meeting happen.... easier."
  • Incineryn Blackpyre --"Incineryn was a complicated person who had too much destructive elements, which they didn't deal with in a.... preferable matter. I don't fully blame her for that though, since from what little I've gathered their parents and extended family are/were worrisome."
  • Ivar Warborn --"Dammit Ivar, I thought you were smarter then this. Dropping a bloody airship on us and then setting off multiple explosions as your forces ravage Meadowcraft. Could have sent a bloody messenger threatening to do this to draw us out, then kill or beat us bloody to drive everyone else into submission. We would have gone tow, we're bloody fucking heroes. What Ivar's doing won't drive people into submission, but into a rage. After this everyone in the Alliance will be putting more and more resources into dealing with the Forsaken... Bloody idiot's gonna find out real quick that C&D won't just roll the Hell over."
  • Laura --"Laura was someone who was always trying her best to look after the people around her and I would have loved to have gotten to know more about them. The only positive outlook on her passing, is that she was finally able to get revenge. Now it looks like we have to put Gwynevere back where she belongs, I hope Laura watches when it happens. It'll be good practice for the other one who escaped death..."
  • Legion --"I'm glad we were able to free Legion from the influence of both the Stone and Grok, giving them the chance to figure out who they are and what they want in life. Who knows, perhaps between them and Visera they can figure out how to either repair or create more forges. Without the consequence of what the last one created cost."
  • Logan Karstark --"He's paradoxically one of the most reliable people around, along with being one of the most unreliable people around. It can be hard to tell which, though he has a good heart for people he considers friends and I reckon it's partly due to the unique situation he finds himself in."
  • Lumira Igne --"Thank god for Lumira, not only for her assistance running the healers section of C&D but for being more balanced in the mental department. Not using violence as the first answer and thinking things through, just keep being you Lumira."
  • Lydia Redfort --"If other's in the Alliance were as hard working and responsible as her, well we'd not have to worry about everything falling apart when we're gone for a couple days. I hope she gets the happiness she wants in life, though I'll leave what it is there."
  • Lyra Roseshade --"To say that Lyra's the reason I can still smile, wouldn't be much of an exaggeration at all. Just hearing her music or laughter makes the world brighter, like the difference between the Material Plane and the Shadowfell. That's not to say she's perfect though, she's gone through a lot from what I can tell, even in comparison to myself. You wouldn't notice it easily, but she finds it hard to open up and connect with other's and I'm no exception. I'll just have to be there for her, always no matter what..."
  • Maribelle Blackpyre --"Maribelle's really impressed me as of late, she's taken Marilka's training more seriously and properly then I would have thought possible from her. She's still the same kind of person she was before, but showing more maturity and responsibility then perhaps anyone else in C&D bar Omerok. As my face can attest, she also throws quite the mean punch, but hey she was doing it to protect someone she cares about. It just gives her extra points from me, I don't hold it against her at all.... or Marilka for stabbing me."
  • Marilka Thyrnmur --"Marilka's tougher then she she has any right to be.... then she should be at her age. She'll make a damn good Adventurer in the future if that's the path she chooses, despite almost everyone's efforts to shield her from the reality of it all. Hiding or trying to stifle her interest in adventurers, will just make her more likely to go off on her own eventually and not be prepared. This way she'll also learn to rely on others more and not feel alone when they don't need to be, nothings worse then that."
  • Oleza --"Oleza's the newest main addition to the team and she's an interesting one, being from another land only helps her in that regard. She's quite naïve and gullible however, so I'll try to help her if she gets in trouble due to those traits of hers. Hopefully she proof-reads what she writes in that journal of hers, or we're going to look.... interesting to her people if she ever releases her findings. She does seem to be a generally good person though, even If I don't think she realizes the severity of what we face and the possible risks that come along with it. Hopefully she never needs to..."
  • Omerok --"Omerok never ceases to amaze me in how adhered he is to his principals along with how easily he seems to just enjoy life, not letting anything burden him much at all. Honestly he's the heart and soul of not just C&D, but whatever group/place he finds himself within. He and the Raven Queen make a cute couple."
  • Qurouk Cluiekill --"Barely got to know the guy unfortunately, but from the little time I spent with him I could tell he had the best intentions for all of us. Sacrificed himself without a hint of hesitation, which is something that not many can do, no matter how much they boast. He left quite the fighter behind, I think he'd be proud of how far she's come."
  • Raiah Theron --"Can I just say how glad I am that Aiden found Raiah, God knows no one else could deal with his ego. All jokes aside she brings out the best in him and vice-versa, and I'd trust no one more to watch his back. She's a mean hand with her knives and even more so with her mind, even if her torture techniques could use some work."
  • Roland Castille --"Roland's view on accepting help from the Conclave if needed, was a breath of fresh air. Most of the Alliance's leadership seems extremely stubborn in...any regard when it involves the Conclave. Guess we're cousins now, though we haven't really interacted all that much after the fact."
  • Sayrax - --"She's a beacon of light in these dark times as of late. Don't let that fool you though, she's more resilient then almost anyone I've met... I was afraid we lost her when she was corrupted by the Stone, luckily we were able to work together and free her from that. I like to think that fighting together within the confines of one of your minds, makes people closer friends. A shame I won't be able to use that spell anymore..."
  • Shiro Shiniami - --"From what little I heard and saw of Shiro, she was someone who was always there for anyone who needed it. Someone who tried her best to make life better for everyone around her, even at risk to herself. Now she's dead and I'm just as powerless to save her and the others who were slaughtered, as I was all those years ago. Despite my power, fame and whatever other positive traits people put upon me these days... I'm still that disappointing child, who failed to protect those he should have."
  • Skulk Greymind --"Skulks the kind of guy you know you can rely on in tricky situations of a combative nature. Not so much on matters of diplomacy but hey the big guys making quite the progress in reading and writing, he should be proud. I know his kid would be, hopefully we can put this Forsaken business behind us soon and he can head back home. I certainly wouldn't mind visiting, from what I've heard from Skulk, they sound wonderful."
  • Tuunbaaq Miastroth --"Tuunbaaq's someone who's been giving a tough hand in life, made some bad mistakes and instead of rolling over and giving up, decided to try and make up for them and be a better person. She knows she's not perfect but doesn't try to be, she just tries to be better and keeps an eye on her temper and rashness which got her in trouble in the past. It's admirable, along with her drive to help a decaying village turn into a place where anyone who puts in effort to help the community can belong. Sure she didn't take leadership of the Village honorably, but I doubt she would have had the chance to. Would the corrupt leadership who've sold themselves to the Forsaken follow honorable rules themselves? I doubt it, and a large portion of the populace was too indoctrinated to think for themselves."
  • Vera Blackmoore --"Out of all the people who've helped C&D, she's probably the one who has the most reason not to. The love of her life Barbatos, decides to join C&D and ends up sacrificing his life to save Clymene. Followed by a dear friend of hers Aileen, joining up and then facing her demise due to the rash decisions of Clymene relatively shortly after. Yet she still choose to help Aiden in a very dangerous procedure, keeping it going even after he cut off both of her arms and barely made a big deal about it afterwards. Even after finding out about Clymene's involvement, besides a short verbal beatdown Vera didn't demand or ask for anything from Clymene or C&D. Just saying she needed some time away from us, until Springrite came around and she wanted to make sure that I took some time to relax... Vera's a real gem of a person and she deserves much more then C&D has given her."
  • Victor Salazaar --"Not the biggest fan of Victor but he's a skilled fighter, works hard, and is one of the more responsible members of C&D. We're lucky to have him, even if he glares at Aiden half the time when they're in the same room..."
  • Visera Maelstrom - --"When Visera saved us, she made the elite forces of Sheng-Lao seem like children playing with toys. Got us out of a real tough situation and was repaid by being unable to help her best friend. Fuck, I really should check up on her, I don't know if anyone else will but I can at least let her known that she's still got at least one friend still around."
  • Whisper --"Whisper's been quiet lately... She's the one who worries me the most..."
  • Ygrid Ironborn --"She's gone now and the world is poorer for it. Went out like the badass she is, and it's thanks to her that we were able to save the city.... Not that it makes it any easier, I'm tired of losing friends. At least we can still talk with Ygrid as Kelemvor."
